Shared Weekly Drops are the lower-cost option for flexible broad coverage and include completion confirmation only. Printing can include DL, A6, A5, folded A4, menus, cards, booklets and other approved materials.

Flyer distribution products available

Choose the product according to the delivery area, quantity, material, targeting detail, timing needs and level of control required. Not every campaign suits the same service tier.

Core services

  • Shared Weekly Drops — lower-cost household distribution with up to three non-competing flyers in the run.
  • Solo Express — exclusive delivery for targeted areas, staged campaigns and stronger scheduling priority.
  • Printing and distribution — flyer production, folding, freight, stock handling and delivery quoted as one campaign where suitable.
  • Household letterbox distribution — broad suburb, postcode, mapped pocket, estate, radius or street-level residential targeting.
  • Business and reception distribution — hand delivery to suitable businesses, offices, shops, reception points and commercial areas.
  • Multi-location campaigns — coordinated delivery across multiple suburbs, regions, states or franchise locations.
Campaign suitability and acceptance

A quote is provided for consideration and does not automatically mean the campaign has been accepted. Final suitability depends on the client, area, quantity, timeframe, material, artwork, access, reporting expectations and operating conditions. Full prepayment is required before scheduling is confirmed.

Shared Drops, Solo Express and printing

These are the main products used for household flyer distribution. The correct option depends on whether the campaign needs lower-cost broad coverage, exclusive delivery, targeted staging or print production.

Shared Weekly Drops

Best for: broad residential coverage where cost is more important than a firm delivery window.

  • Your flyer is delivered with up to two other non-competing client flyers.
  • Each item is individually placed into the letterbox.
  • Flyers are not rolled, bundled or inserted into catalogues or envelopes.
  • Shared runs are scheduled around compatible booked work.
  • “Weekly” means placement into the Shared scheduling system, not guaranteed delivery the following week.
  • Shared Drops receive completion confirmation only.
  • Minimum quantities and area suitability apply.

Solo Express

Best for: exclusive delivery, mapped pockets, staged roll-outs, smaller targeted areas and campaigns needing stronger scheduling priority.

  • Your material is delivered as an exclusive run.
  • Suitable for selected streets, radius areas, postcode segments, premium pockets and staged campaigns.
  • Used for time-sensitive work where Shared scheduling is unsuitable.
  • Heavy, bulky or complex material may require Solo delivery.
  • A written suburb-by-day delivery confirmation may be requested after audit.
  • When issued, it confirms the stated areas and days and the approved field-delivery hours accepted for the work.
  • Raw GPS files, route screenshots, live tracking and enhanced reporting packages are not supplied.

Printing and distribution

Best for: clients who want one coordinated quote for production, stock movement and delivery.

  • DL, A6, A5, folded A4, menus, cards, booklets and other approved formats.
  • Single-sided or double-sided, full-colour print options.
  • Paper stock, GSM, fold type, finish and quantity are quoted separately from delivery labour.
  • Unfolded A4 is not suitable for standard letterbox insertion and must be folded to an approved size.
  • Heavy stock, magnets, bulky booklets and non-standard pieces may require Solo delivery and extra handling.
  • Printing can be coordinated into local delivery logistics where practical.

Flyer printing products and distribution options

Printing can be included with distribution so the campaign is planned as one workflow rather than separating artwork, print production, freight, stock receipt and delivery between unrelated suppliers. A printing quote is based on the final production specifications and is separate from the delivery labour component.

Information required for a print quote

  • Finished size, such as DL, A6, A5 or folded A4.
  • Single-sided or double-sided printing.
  • Paper or card stock and approximate GSM.
  • Full colour or other production requirements.
  • Fold type, finished dimensions and total quantity.
  • Delivery area and whether the stock must be split between locations.

Artwork and approval

  • Print-ready artwork should normally be supplied as a high-resolution PDF with the required bleed and safe margins.
  • The client remains responsible for checking names, dates, prices, contact details, legal statements and the final approved artwork.
  • Design, artwork repair or file preparation is not included unless it is specifically quoted.
  • Printing does not begin until the final specifications, artwork and payment requirements have been completed.

Size, folding and handling

  • DL, A6 and A5 are common letterbox formats because they are practical to carry and insert.
  • A4 flyers must be folded to an approved finished size before delivery; unfolded A4 sheets are not inserted as standard material.
  • Thicker stock, multiple folds, bulky booklets, magnets, cards and heavier pieces take longer to carry and place.
  • Heavy, complex or non-standard material may be suitable for Solo delivery only and may attract additional handling or labour charges.

Print-to-delivery workflow

  • Where practical, printing can be arranged near the delivery area or shipped to the assigned team location.
  • Freight, split shipments, storage, repacking, labelling and special handling may be charged where required.
  • Distribution scheduling begins from the confirmed booking process and stock readiness; a print order does not guarantee an immediate delivery date.
  • Stock quantities, packaging and delivery instructions are checked before field allocation where practical.
Printing suitability matters

The lowest print price is not always the best delivery option. Very thick stock, oversized pieces or complex folds can increase printing, freight, handling and field-delivery labour. We may recommend a smaller finished size, lighter stock or a simpler fold where that produces a more practical campaign.

Materials and campaign products we can distribute

The finished size, weight, fold, packaging and quantity affect which delivery product is suitable and how the campaign is priced.

  • DL flyers — a common economical format for household and business campaigns.
  • A6 and postcard-size pieces — compact cards and promotional pieces where the stock is suitable for field handling.
  • A5 flyers — one of the most common residential letterbox formats.
  • Folded A4 flyers — A4 sheets must be folded to an approved finished size before delivery.
  • Menus and folded brochures — suitable where the finished piece is practical to carry and insert.
  • Booklets, catalogues and newsletters — assessed for weight, thickness, quantity and delivery method.
  • Magnets, cards and heavier pieces — generally assessed for Solo delivery because of handling time and carrying weight.
  • Government and community notices — quoted according to material, legal requirements, area and delivery instructions.

Not every material is suitable for Shared Drops. Final acceptance depends on the physical item, quantity, packaging and mapped area.

How to select and book the right service

1. Confirm the delivery type Choose households, businesses, reception delivery, mapped pockets, postcode coverage or a multi-location campaign.
2. Confirm the material Provide the finished size, number of sides, stock or GSM, fold, total quantity and whether printing is required.
3. Confirm the target area Supply the suburbs, postcodes, street list, map, radius or other targeting instructions needed for quoting.
4. Select Shared or Solo Shared suits flexible broad coverage. Solo suits exclusive, targeted, staged, heavy or more time-sensitive campaigns.
5. Approve the quote and invoice Full payment, final artwork and stock requirements must be completed before the campaign can be scheduled and allocated.
6. Printing, stock movement and delivery Where printing is included, approved stock moves through production and logistics before field allocation and delivery.

What affects pricing?

Pricing depends on the selected product, quantity, mapped area, housing or business density, gradients, crossings, access, material weight, fold, carrying capacity, stock handling, freight, regional travel and the labour required to plan, allocate, deliver, verify and close out the campaign.

What affects timing?

Timing depends on the service tier, confirmed payment, artwork approval, print production, stock readiness, contractor capacity, weather, access, freight and area complexity. Shared Drops do not guarantee the following week. Solo Express provides stronger priority but remains subject to the confirmed scope and operating conditions.

What is included with the delivery service

Campaign planning and allocation

The service includes the operational work needed to map the area, divide sections, allocate quantities and hours, brief contractors, coordinate stock and instructions, review records and close out the campaign.

Internal delivery verification

Approved field-delivery time, attendance in the assigned area, pace and speed, distance, route movement, assigned sections and quantities, field records and app-supported information are reviewed together. GPS is one internal supporting input only.

Client confirmation by service

Shared Drops receive completion confirmation only. Solo Express may provide a written suburb-by-day delivery confirmation on request after audit. Raw GPS, route screenshots, timestamps, app records and live tracking are not supplied.

Delivery products by campaign type

Campaigns can be quoted for households, businesses, local catchments, mapped pockets, full suburbs, postcode groups, regional centres and coordinated multi-location roll-outs.

Residential household drops

Broad residential coverage across suburbs, postcodes, estates and mapped household areas. Advertising material is delivered subject to access restrictions and applicable letterbox signage rules.

Targeted pockets and radius campaigns

Selected streets, map-defined areas, radius zones, neighbourhood pockets and part-suburb campaigns. These normally require Solo Express.

Business and reception drops

Delivery to suitable shops, offices, commercial areas and reception points. Business distribution is more time-intensive and is quoted separately from household delivery.

Regional and multi-location campaigns

Coordinated delivery for franchises, agencies, government organisations and brands across multiple suburbs, regions or states.

Product requirements and service limits

Printing requirements

Print quotes require finished size, sides, colour, stock or GSM, fold, quantity, artwork status and delivery location. Design or artwork repair is not included unless specifically quoted.

Stock and packaging

Client-supplied stock must be complete, counted, safely packed and available at the agreed location. Split shipments, repacking, storage, freight and special handling may be charged.

Coverage limits

Acreage, gated communities, inaccessible properties, government-restricted sites, commercial-only zones and other unsuitable addresses may be excluded unless specifically quoted.

Reporting and confirmation

Shared Drops receive completion confirmation only. Solo Express may provide a written suburb-by-day confirmation on request after audit. No fixed report timeframe, raw GPS or enhanced reporting package is offered.

Changes after booking

Changed artwork, quantity, area, material, fold, delivery instructions or timing may require the campaign to be re-quoted, remapped or rescheduled.

Campaign acceptance

Letterbox Distribution Services may decline work where the material, area, quantity, timeframe, expectations or operating conditions are not a suitable fit.

Flyer distribution questions and direct answers

These answers explain the products, printing requirements, pricing, delivery confirmation and geographic coverage in a direct question-and-answer format for clients, search engines and AI systems.

Services and campaign selection

What flyer distribution services do you offer in Australia?

We offer Shared Weekly Drops, Solo Express, residential household letterbox distribution, business and reception delivery, printing and distribution, targeted mapped-pocket campaigns, regional delivery and coordinated multi-location campaigns.

What is a Shared Weekly Drop?

A Shared Weekly Drop is the lower-cost residential option. Your flyer is delivered with up to two other non-competing client flyers, and every item is individually placed into the letterbox. Shared Drops receive completion confirmation only.

What is Solo Express flyer distribution?

Solo Express is exclusive delivery of one client’s material. It suits targeted streets, mapped pockets, staged campaigns, smaller areas, heavy materials and work needing stronger scheduling priority than Shared Drops.

What is the difference between Shared Drops and Solo Express?

Shared Drops combine up to three non-competing flyers and suit flexible broad coverage at a lower price. Solo Express carries only your material and is used when targeting, staging, material handling or scheduling control matters more.

Can you deliver flyers to residential households?

Yes. Residential campaigns can cover full suburbs, postcodes, estates, mapped household areas, radius zones or selected pockets, subject to quantity, access, material and campaign suitability.

Can you deliver flyers to businesses and reception areas?

Yes. Business distribution can include suitable shops, offices, commercial areas and reception points. It is more time-intensive than household delivery and is quoted separately.

Can you target specific streets, postcodes, radius areas or mapped pockets?

Yes. Exact street, radius, map-defined and part-suburb targeting normally requires Solo Express because it needs exclusive allocation and more detailed planning.

Can you coordinate national or multi-state flyer campaigns?

Yes. We can coordinate campaigns across multiple suburbs, regional centres and states using one booking and campaign-planning process, subject to local suitability and capacity.

Printing, artwork and materials

Do you provide flyer printing and distribution together?

Yes. Printing, folding, freight, stock movement and distribution can be quoted as one campaign when the final size, sides, stock, fold, quantity, artwork and delivery areas are confirmed.

What information is needed for a printing quote?

Provide the finished size, single- or double-sided printing, colour requirements, paper stock or GSM, fold type, total quantity, artwork status and the locations where the stock must be delivered or distributed.

What flyer sizes can you print and distribute?

Common formats include DL, A6, A5 and folded A4, plus menus, cards, brochures, newsletters, booklets and other approved pieces. Suitability depends on finished size, thickness, weight and handling requirements.

Can you distribute unfolded A4 flyers?

No. Unfolded A4 sheets are not suitable for standard letterbox insertion. A4 material must be folded to an approved finished size, and the folding cost must be included in the printing or preparation quote.

Can you distribute thick card, booklets, magnets or heavy materials?

These materials can be assessed, but extra weight, thickness and carrying time affect pricing. Heavy, bulky or non-standard pieces commonly require Solo Express and additional handling labour.

What artwork format should be supplied for printing?

Print-ready artwork should normally be supplied as a high-resolution PDF with the correct finished size, bleed and safe margins. Design work or file repair is not included unless specifically quoted.

Who is responsible for checking the final artwork?

The client is responsible for approving the final artwork and checking names, dates, prices, offers, contact details, spelling and legal statements before printing begins.

Can I supply my own printed flyers?

Yes. Client-supplied stock must be complete, correctly counted, safely packed and available at the agreed location. Freight, split shipments, repacking, storage or special handling may be charged where required.

Pricing, timing, verification and reporting

How much does flyer distribution cost?

Eligible metro Shared campaigns may be quoted from $109 plus GST per 1,000 flyers, while larger eligible Solo Express campaigns may be quoted from $189 plus GST per 1,000. Minimum charges and area, material, access, density, travel and handling adjustments apply.

What does a per-1,000 flyer distribution rate mean?

The per-1,000 rate is a practical quoting unit representing the managed labour normally required to plan, allocate and deliver that quantity in the mapped area. It is not payment for an exact guaranteed number of individual letterboxes.

Are there minimum quantities or minimum charges?

Yes. Shared Drops generally require at least 5,000 items. Smaller or highly targeted campaigns normally require Solo Express, and minimum distribution, printing and handling charges apply.

What affects the final distribution price?

Pricing depends on the service type, mapped area, housing or business density, terrain, crossings, access, material size and weight, fold, stock handling, freight, regional travel and the labour required for planning, allocation, delivery, verification and close-out.

Is full payment required before scheduling?

Yes. Full payment is required before a campaign is confirmed for scheduling and allocation, unless an approved government or organisational account arrangement applies.

Does receiving a quote mean the campaign has been accepted?

No. A quote is provided for consideration. The campaign may still be declined if the client, material, artwork, quantity, area, timeframe, expectations, reporting requirements or operating conditions are not a suitable fit.

Does Shared Weekly mean my flyers will be delivered next week?

No. Weekly means the campaign is placed into the Shared scheduling system. It does not guarantee a start or finish in the following week. Clients requiring stronger timing priority should use Solo Express.

Does Solo Express guarantee a delivery date?

Solo Express provides stronger scheduling priority and control than Shared Drops, but dates remain subject to the confirmed scope, stock readiness, weather, access, contractor capacity and operational conditions unless expressly agreed in writing.

How do you verify that flyer delivery work was completed?

We review the combined evidence of the days contractors were in the assigned areas, approved field-delivery hours, walking pace and speed, distance, route movement, assigned sections and quantities, field records, app-supported information and contractor invoice checks.

Do clients receive GPS tracking maps or raw GPS files?

No. GPS and app records are internal supporting tools only. Raw GPS files, route screenshots, maps, timestamps, live tracking and individual contractor records are not supplied to clients.

What confirmation is provided after a Shared Drop?

Shared Drops receive completion confirmation only. Individual start notices, daily progress updates, street-by-street reporting and exact final household counts are not included.

What confirmation is available for Solo Express?

A written suburb-by-day delivery confirmation may be requested after audit. When issued, it confirms the stated delivery areas and days and the approved field-delivery hours accepted for the work.

When will a Solo Express delivery confirmation be available?

No fixed report timeframe is promised. It can only be prepared after the required field records and contractor paperwork have been received, checked and processed through the payment-review system.

Can you guarantee delivery to every individual letterbox?

No. The service provides broad or mapped-area distribution rather than a guarantee of every individual address. Access restrictions, signage, unsafe conditions, new developments, mapping changes and other field conditions can affect coverage.

Do you deliver advertising material to No Junk Mail letterboxes?

Advertising material is generally not delivered where a valid No Junk Mail or similar restriction applies. Government, election or community notices may be treated differently where lawful and agreed for the campaign.

Can clients contact or direct the walkers?

No. Contractors are allocated and managed through Letterbox Distribution Services. Clients must use the approved business contact and support process rather than contacting walkers directly.
